B’RUN’CH Routes

bRUNch: a run that’s more about the mimosas than it is the run. All of our runs are around 3.1 miles (5k) and range in difficulty from 1 to 3 (1 being mostly flat and 3 having a few hills), but nothing you can’t handle! Our routes are designed to showcase the neighborhood, giving you a chance to explore St. Louis and its many unique features. All runs will start and end at the restaurants listed, where the mimosas are bottomless, and where the real party begins! See you out there! #weRUNstl

Difficulty: 1 | Restaurant: Varies

Our favorite route...bring your cameras! This route takes us past Busch Stadium, the historic Eat-Rite diner, and a hidden St. Louis gem, all within the first mile. It continues along the riverfront, through the Gateway Arch and finishes with a quick trip around the Citygarden. We finish our morning with a turn-up at one of downtown’s premier spots, where the mimosas keep flowing until they kick us out!

Soulard

Difficulty: 2 | Restaurant: Pieces Game Bar

Game night anyone? After our run through historic soulard we will break out the board games at Pieces where we will see who’s boss at Uno, Taboo, and whatever else we find amongst their 850+ game wall. Make sure to pay attention to the sights and smells along the route as you will pass by the Anheuser-Busch Brewery and Soulard Market both in full swing.

Central West End (CWE)

Difficulty: 2 | Restaurant: The BBQ Saloon

Named one of the top 10 neighborhoods in the country, the CWE has it all: from trendy boutiques, to antique shops, to art galleries, to an actual book store, what more could you ask for? All within walking, I mean running distance ;). On this route we will run past many of these attractions, plus the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica, before settling in for some good old fashioned St. Louis BBQ.

Difficulty: 1 | Restaurant: Layla

Ever wanted Mediterranean food for breakfast?! Me neither. That’s why Layla does brunch :), and it’s one of the best in town. The perfect blend of cuisines to satisfy your palate after an easy run through The Grove and newly developed Cortex Innovation district. Keep your eyes peeled for all the neat street art adorning the buildings along the way.

*Try the Fowl Play Skillet (spicy)

Clayton

Difficulty: 2 | Restaurant: Herbie’s

This run takes you through Shaw Park, gives you a taste of the Great Rivers Greenway and winds through the quiet neighborhood streets of Clayton. The hill on Delmar has been known to take prisoners, but the Instagram worthy entrees at brunch are quite the reward.
